    Join a youth group that works to protect the environment and/or prevent drug usage
    Keep an eye out for Shared Responsibility events in your community and offer to participate.
    Recycle, use mass transit, buy fair trade products – when it comes to saving the environment, everyone counts.
    Promote Shared Responsibility’s message in social networking sites, such as Facebook and My Space.
    Purchase alternative development products when available.
    Reject cocaine consumption.

ORGANIZATION

  • Diffuse Shared Responsibility’s message within your organization
    Allocate time and resources to learning more about how cocaine affects the environment and communities all over the world.
    Make your organization environmentally-friendly.
    Actively discourage cocaine use within your organization.
    Purchase alternative development products when available.
    Promote the adoption of an alternative development project in Colombia as part of your organization’s commitment to social responsibility.

EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

  • Promote environmental projects among the student body.
    Develop conferences, seminars or panel discussions that examine Shared Responsibility’s message and the effect of illicit drugs in your community.
    Work toward drug prevention implementing Shared Responsibility’s message.
    Sensitize teachers so they can spread the word.
    In the case of universities, include the social and environmental devastation caused by illicit drugs within the curriculum of degrees such as human rights, environmental sciences, public administration, among others.
    Take advantage of special events related to Shared Responsibility’s message, such as Earth Day, to promote our cause.
    Invite Shared Responsibility to your school.
    Make your school environmentally-friendly.
    Adopt a zero tolerance policy toward cocaine use.

  • Spread the word about Shared Responsibility among various government areas, especially those related with public health, education and law enforcement.
    Adopt Shared Responsibility’s message as a drug prevention strategy.
    Ask your consulate or embassy in Colombia to get in touch with us.
    Learn more about alternative development in Colombia and study the possibility of helping out.
    Eliminate travel warnings to Colombia, if applicable.
    Recommend local events in which Shared Responsibility can participate.
