The one-time beauty queen and ex-wife of the Harlem drug-dealing legend immortalized in "American Gangster" has been busted for trying to cut a cocaine deal in Puerto Rico, authorities said.

Juliana Farrait-Rodriguez, the former Mrs. Frank Lucas, was arrested Thursday by Drug Enforcement Administration agents while allegedly trying to move two kilos of cocaine in Isla Verde Carolina, Puerto Rico.

"Like in the movie the "American Gangster" Frank Lucas was known to have made millions of dollars peddling heroin throughout the streets of New York City," said DEA Special Agent in Charge John Gilbride.

"Well, his wife has taken up his role by trying to sell two kilograms of cocaine in Puerto Rico with the goal of sending them to be sold on the New York City streets."

Farrait-Rodriguez was portrayed as "Eva" in the 2007 Oscar-nominated Denzel Washington movie.

Washington played Lucas, a country boy-turned-cocaine kingpin who married the Puerto Rican beauty queen after meeting her in a nightclub.

Lucas' massive drug-dealing operation collapsed in 1975, when he was sentenced to 40 years in prison.

He was released in 1991, and Farrait-Rodriguez served five years in that case.
